Artwork Guidelines for CD & DVD Printing
Follow our professional artwork specifications to ensure flawless CD and DVD disc and packaging print results.

Accepted Artwork File Formats
To maintain consistent print quality and avoid production delays, we recommend supplying artwork in the following formats:
- PDF (preferred, print-ready)
- Adobe Illustrator (AI)
- Adobe Photoshop (PSD)
- EPS vector files
All fonts must be outlined or embedded. Linked images should be included.
Colour Mode, Resolution & Print Setup
- Colour mode: CMYK only (RGB may result in colour shifts)
- Resolution: 300 DPI minimum
- Use rich black for large black areas where appropriate
Bleed, Trim & Safe Zones
- 3mm bleed on all sides
- Keep text and logos at least 3mm inside trim lines
- Avoid fine details near folds and edges
Disc Artwork Requirements
Disc artwork must follow the correct template for CD or DVD printing:
- Avoid placing text near the centre hub
- Solid colours and vector elements print best
- Do not include bleed on disc face artwork

- Digipaks (CD & DVD)
- Jewel cases

- Digital proofs (PDF) supplied before production
- Production begins only after approval
- Changes after approval may affect turnaround time
